When it comes to fashion, anything goes. So why is it that the "no white after Labor Day rule" always seems to be enforced? And, where did this rule come from? Apparently, in the early 20th century white clothing was a symbol of class and being able to change your clothes by season showed you were up there. This completely disproves my theory that as the winter chill comes the smooth tan skin goes, and white just isn't as flattering anymore.

Designers and stylists are proving that rules are meant to be broken, especially in the world of fashion. One of the reasons I love fashion so much is that it allows me to be creative and take chances, and this is one chance I am willing to take.
Guiltless Finds:
Craving some
winter white in your wardrobe? This
sequin shift dress from RRR is a great option. Or, go for a pair of "coconut milk" colored ankle length dress pants like
these from Express. Stay all neutral or add some color to your look. Either way, you're sure to make a statement this winter.
So ladies, what do you say? Embrace the pastiness and go with the
winter white?
xo, Jenn
